Donald Hotton (March 29, 1933 – April 14, 1999) played the role of Tully Maltin in the Quantum Leap episode "The Boogieman" in Season 3 (episode #5).

Hotton guest-starred in numerous TV shows over the course of his acting career, which, including his Quantum Leap appearance, such shows as CBS-TV's The Waltons, NBC-TV's Little House on the Prairie, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, CBS's Airwolf, Alien Nation, and NBC-TV's Cheers.

Donald akso appeared in the films Up in Smoke (1978) with Cheech and Chong, The China Syndrome (1979), The Hearse (1980), Mae West (1982 TV), Brainstorm (1983) with Natalie Wood in her last movie appearance. He also made a memorable appearance as General Tide in the popular film Dances with Wolves starring Kevin Costner.
