Georgina Reilly plays Janice Calavicci in the Quantum Leap revival, the daughter of Beth and Al Calavicci from the original Quantum Leap series.
Early life and education[]
Reilly is an English/Canadian film and television actress born in Surrey, England on February 12, 1986. She moved with her family to Toronto, Canada, when she was sixteen. She attended and graduated from Havergal College.
Career[]
Reilly is best known to date for her roles in the films Pontypool and This Movie Is Broken, the television series The L.A. Complex and Murdoch Mysteries, and the CBC Radio drama series Trust Inc. Her career as a performer began at the age of ten on the BBC and when her family moved to Canada she continued to train and work as an actor.
Personal life[]
Reilly is the granddaughter of Canadian musician Tommy Reilly. Her father, David T. Reilly, is a writer and composer, and her mother works in production. Reilly's older brother is a DJ.
Reilly met her future husband Mark O'Brien on Republic of Doyle. The couple married on January 6, 2013. In November 2017, Georgina gave birth to the couples first child, a daughter named Penelope Florence O'Brien.
