Bit actor Howard Matthew Johnson appeared in cameo mirror image appearances as leapee Jesse Tyler in Quantum Leap episode titled "The Color of Truth" in Season 1; he would reprise his cameos as Jesse in the episode "Shock Theater" in Season 3. He has also made appearances in the films The Fabulous Baker Boys (1989), After The Shock (1990) and The Vanishing in 1993. His most recent appearance was as Nicholas in the 2012 film The Snowtown Murders.
