John D'Aquino (born April 14, 1958) appeared on Quantum Leap in the role of Frank LaMotta, the older brother of leapee Jimmy LaMotta, in the episodes "Jimmy", "Deliver Us From Evil", and "Mirror Image". He also wrote the Season 5 episode "The Beast Within".
Life and career biography[]
A film and television actor, John is best known for his role as Lieutenant Benjamin Krieg on the NBC-TV series seaQuest DSV and President Richard Martinez in the Disney Channel Original Series Cory in the House.
D'Aquino was born John Aquino in Brooklyn, New York. Now living in California, he serves as an on-set acting consultant for television networks including The Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. His Young Actors Workshop has turned out several notable young actors and holds weekly classes, casting workshops and summer camps.
In 1985 he co-starred with William Smith, Howard Rollins, Meg Ryan and Terry Funk as Varges de la Cosa in the short-lived [6 episodes] western series "Wildside" which aired on ABC.

In addition to his QL appearances, John has made guest appearances on Baywatch, Matlock, Melrose Place, Murder, She Wrote, Seinfeld, Sliders, Xena: Warrior Princess, Crossing Jordan, Hannah Montana, Monk, Shake It Up, and had recurring roles on 3rd Rock from the Sun, JAG, and co-starred in Comedy Central's That's My Bush! as Larry O'Shea.
