Julio Oscar Mechoso (Sometimea credited as Julio Mechoso; born May 31, 1955 – November 25, 2017) appears as Florida death row inmate Raul Casta in the Season 3 episode of Quantum Leap titled "Last Dance Before An Execution".
Career[]
A character actor in both television and films, Julio had over 120 well known film and TV role appearnces;[1] he appeared in several high-profile films, such as Grindhouse, Bad Boys and the controversial Ken Park. His television credits included Miami Vice, Coach, Seinfeld, and Greetings from Tucson. He had appeared in two Martin Lawrence films, Bad Boys and Blue Streak. He played a Police Detective in both.
Death[]
Mechoso died of a heart attack at his home in Burbank, California, at the age of 62.[2][3]
