Template:Infobox character Katie Beckett is the youngest child in the Beckett family. She grew up in Elk Ridge, Indiana, on the Beckett dairy farm. In the episode The Leap Home, Katie wound up marrying a man named Chuck, a future high school classmate, when she was 17 years old. Her husband became an alcoholic and turned physically abusive towards her and their kids, a fact that haunts Sam and affects his actions during several leaps.
Sam tried to prevent Katie from marrying Chuck by talking to her about it during the leap, The Leap Home, as a 16 year old. In the leap out of 1969, Sam was able to help her change her fate, by not marrying into an abusive marriage to Chuck.
