Owen Rutlegde appears as leapee Lester "Doc" Fuller, a former major league baseball played in the minors in Texas in 1961 whom Dr. Samuel Beckett leaps into in the Season 4 episode "Play Ball".
In addition to his appearance on Quantum Leap, Owen also made bit role appearances in the films Point Break (1991), Death Run to Istanbul (1993) and The Flesh Merchant (1993)
