Teri Hatcher (born Teri Lynn Hatcher on December 8, 1964) appears as a young Donna Eleese, the future wife of Dr. Samuel Beckett, a then college co-ed in the Season 1 episode of Quantum Leap titled "Star-Crossed".
Teri is best known for her roles as Lois Lane in the ABC-TV series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, along with Dean Cain, who played the part of Clark Kent/Superman' (1993-1997), and as Susan Mayer on the television series Desperate Housewives (2004-2012), for which she won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
Other notable roles she had were Lieutenant B.G. Robinson in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Outrageous Okona", and Paris Carver in the 007 movie Tomorrow Never Dies. She is also doing the voice of Silver Skylark in the animated movie Stan Lee's Mighty 7.
In 2010, Hatcher made a return to the Superman franchise, with a special guest role in the final season of the WB Network series Smallville as Ella Lane, the mother of Erica Durance's Lois Lane. rk were used for the Season 4 DVD feature Being Lois Lane.
